Artemis

Daughter of Zeus. Of the Earth, Water, and the Celestial.

A lover of virginity, having been filled with the undefiled powers of the Gods. She draws upon the Fountain of Virtue and embraces its abiding virginity, which gives subsistence to Self and Supermundane virtue. Here, nothing progresses according to generation.

She is the inspective guardian of virtue, imparting perfection on the imperfection of matter. Intellect into virtue. Her productive powers transmute forms into energy and swiftly call forth the ultimate purpose. Known as Hecate to the mundane and Artemis at the summit of wholes. Mene to mortals and Selene to immortals.

She is consubstantial with Nature, a daemon and nurse of humanity. Sombre under a saffron veil, she cares for fertility, labour pangs, and childbirth and is benevolent to the young.

She is the holder of the key and presides over gateways, ruling all areas surrounding the Earth. Night's torch, drawn by two bulls [till the earth], increasing and diminishing, a nocturnal huntress who takes delight in the stag, as do the woods and dogs.
